What if the delay that is frustrating you is God’s way of protecting you from something bad? If you don’t want to have an accident, learn to be thankful for the detour. We have a Chaldean saying that says, “If it’s late or something you prayed for didn’t happen, let it go and thank God for you don’t know what God is protecting you from.”
It is really up to you, no one can force you to think the right way or walk the right way. You’re responsible for your actions and faults. God blesses us with family, friends, or even a stranger to help us along the way. But many of us are driven by our pride and don’t like to be taught or given advice. I remember when I used to be like that and let me tell you this from my experience, you will never feel God or peace.
You can’t read the whole bible and think you’re now a prophet. Or post a verse and sleep with hate inside. We walk by faith, not by sight and if your journey is teaching you to hate, hold grudges, envy, ego, gossiping, and pride, I don’t know about you, but it seems that you are way off from God’s will and path. Since Advent is at the door let’s focus on how to be what God wants us to be. It is never too late to get back on track, as long as you move your legs because you’re not a tree. I hope not!!
“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”
Romans 12:12
